  • Use all your four fingers on string 1 (High E), starting from index finger on fret 1, middle finger on fret 2, ring finger on fret 3 and little finger on fret 4. Play as 1-2-3-4 and return as 4-3-2-1. Keep on repeating the process and go on increasing the speed.
  • Repeat the process as explained in step 1 on all strings. Now use two strings with 1-2 on first string and 3-4 on second string e.g. index, middle finger on fret 1 and 2 of string 2 (open B note) and ring finger, little finger on fret 3 & 4 of string 1 (High E). Repeat with any set of two strings.
  • Play all the notes on string 1 (High E) starting from E open, then F on fret 1 and go on till next E (E-F-G-A-B-C-D-E) and return back to open E. Use all fingers and do not cross over any finger.
