The following resources and tips will greatly help you in learning Spanish:

- Firstly, get a good dictionary - either the one from Merriam-Webster's or Oxford.

- “Madrigal's Magic Key to Spanish” by Margarita Madrigal is one of the best books for Spanish learning beginners. However, the book was last updated decades ago and may not be useful on the latest developments in the language.

- Buy the software called Rosetta Stone, which is a complete immersion tool for language learning in a step-by-step way. However, the price tag may be too much for people so instead go for some cheaper software.

- Get the “Learn to Speak Spanish Deluxe” made by Individual Software Inc., which is the cheaper alternative to Rosetta Stone and has a lot of exercises and lessons which will help you get to the intermediate level.

- Keep a notebook with you where you note your progress daily. Use this notebook for remembering difficult grammar and pronunciation rules.

- Rent and watch as many Spanish movies as possible with English subtitles on, or watch English movies with Spanish subtitles on.

- If you are having trouble with Spanish grammar, then consider the "Practice Makes Perfect" series by "Dorothy Richmond".

- Finally, you cannot be fluent in language unless you immerse yourself in its atmosphere. Hence, practice with your Spanish speaking friends as much as possible, and wherever possible.
