P90X Fitness Regimen

From personal experience, I can honestly say that the hardest part about this workout is actually starting it and creating the daily routine required to complete the program. I sat around with the discs for weeks before I actually said enough is enough, let's get started. Quite honestly, I was a little bit intimidated and afraid to be unsuccessful at completing the workout; but I wasn't getting anything done by sitting around at home, either.

So, the first thing I did was make a list of all of the materials required to complete the program. (i.e. dumbbells, jump rope, chin-up bar, etc.) After I gathered everything I needed for my selected workout plan (P90X Lean), I started to clear a workout area in the living room that would be spacious enough for the rigorous exercises. By this point, I had already started feeling a sense of accomplishment that I had not felt about this "project" in the two months that I had the DVD's previously. Not wanting this euphoria to end, I decided to pop the first disc in and push play. Before doing this, I had a little pep talk with myself, saying "Okay. No turning back. When I push play, I can not stop for 90 days. No matter what."

Well, that was 53 days ago, and the results are incredible. No sign of me stopping. The best advice I can give is to treat this workout with the same attitude you would put towards your professional growth in your career; with veracity and reckless abandon. Go for it, and don't look back!
