Basketball shooting and dribbling practice

Negative No
1. First practice shooting. Start out close to the basket and try to make a basket. If successful, move farther away from the basket and try to successfully make another shot. Each time you make a shot, move a bit farther away from the basket until you are comfortable making shots at that range. Eventually you will be good enough to attempt and make shots from behind the 3 point line.
2. Secondly, try to improve your dribbling skills. Take some cones or similar objects and line them up in a straight line, about 8 ft apart from each other. Try to dribble in and out of the cones without losing control of the ball.
