- First of all, understand the main subject of what you're going to study. Create a simple idea of what you have to learn, and why.

- Then, read the whole book, underlying the most important words you encounter: this will be very important next time you read it, because it'll let you same precious time.

- Now, read your notes. Having read the book, you'll be able to understand what you've written on your copybook even if you attended class a long time ago.

- Time to recap the information. Lie down on your bed and think through all the things you have read, making connection between them. Avoid reaching for your book if you forget something; try to remember it instead before checking there. This will make it easier to remember afterwards.
