A good way to practice your precision skills on the guitar is to play simple warm-ups consistently up and down the neck. A good one to practice is a simple 1-2-3-4 on the E string, then 1-2-3-4 on the next string above. Continue going up and down the fretboard hitting 1-2-3-4 on the way up, and 4-3-2-1 on the way down. Repeating this warm-up everyday will most definitely improve your precision, accuracy and speed while playing guitar.
