If dancing is something that you are really passionate about, just dance at every opportunity possible. Be it at social functions or at home, just let your hair down and dance.

Practice dancing in front of a full length mirror and in tune with the music being played in the background. This helps you see where your moves are not looking that great or notice when your steps are not in sync with the musical score being played.  Keep up with new moves or popular dance numbers and practice the ones that interest you.  Make a dedicated effort on your own or with the help of friend that is known who is a good dancer. Having a partner will help you learn the new dance moves in the best possible manner and in the shortest possible time.

If you are interested in building on your dancing skills further you can enroll dancing classes. Being trained by a professional dancer will help you make faster improvements as well as help you stay consistent with your practice.

When dancing, use your imagination and body expressions often enough so that you can develop your own style. This will go a long way in helping you become a better and more versatile dancer who will be a delight to watch.
